When I had a GM bra, I cut oblong holes in front of each fog light screen. I had earlier replaced the fog light screens with ones that had holes it them to allow air in. I used a drinking glass as a template on each end of the area I was going to cut out and a straight line between the half-circles. I seemed to work well. I have since purchased a SpeedLingerie bra, which comes with a cutout. My signature shows the old GM bra.
I have wondered if you can do this without the fabric stretching and becoming useless. I have had my GM bra for 8yrs. and still fits like new.
I've wondered the same thing............that's what has kept me from, thus far cutting into my GM Bra............Seems like just punching several small holes might not hurt, since there would still be clear vinyl remaing to hold the fabric in place and not baloon up, when doing highway speeds.
Cutting any of the GM bra won't help a Blackwing breathe better. All of the air for the Blackwing comes from underneath unless you have cut-outs in your fog light surrounds.

True, but then I DO have the after market fog lamp surrounds with the holes in them, so I would receive some benefit.
I cut the plastic out completely and had my upholstery guy sew a couple pieces ( yellow arrows ) on to keep it from flapping around, works great.
Can you explain in more detail what you (your upholstery guy) did to keep the bra from flapping in the wind following removal of the clear plastic covering the fog light surrounds?

He sewed 2 pieces of 1" wide webbing onto the underside of the left and right side of the bra where the plastic was cut out.
Unfortunately I cannot use the bra anymore ( without MAJOR mods to it ) as I added a front spoiler and the bra will not fit to snap on the underside of the front end of the car.
