powder coating chrome?
can chrome be sandblasted off so you can powder coat?
i need to buy replacement wheels and one of the replacements i found was chrome. i need them powder coated black.

The powdercoating shop will make a determination based on the integrity of the chrome finish and any sharp bends in the piece to be coated. Given the right circumstances, pc can be directly applied to chrome. If it has to be stripped, they can bead blast or chemical dip. I just had some motorcycle chrome pieces powdercoated that didn't require stripping.
