285/30/19 on the Front?

I use 285/35-18 on a 10" rim,which has the same diameter as 285/30-19. My convertible is lowered to Z06 height,and my only issue was the left tire contacting the rear top of the wheelwell where there is a protrusion for the windshield washer tank. This happened only under hard right cornering with a big bump in the corner--and only in this one corner. I ground off the contact area and used two-part epoxy to fill it.
