After 8 years with the 1996 LT4 C4 Vette, it was time to move up. Found a 2004 Z06 Torch red with red mod interior. 16k miles and its 100% stock! Even has the 1 to 4th skip shift intact. That will change soon. The DVD that comes with it, still in the wrapper, never opened. Crazy.
It looks great, and the 405hp...Wow! Bit different the the
330hp that was in the 96. I was able to get a pic or two before the dealer drove off in the old Vette, they delivered the Z to me at my house, gotta love that.

congrats, and I hate to disagree with everyone. But, leave it stock. I admit The shifter sucks, put in the C6 Z06 one. Other than that, drive it as is. I get a kick out of guys selling camaros and corvettes and they talk about all their mods or best 1/4 mile times. Think about it. When you ever sell the car. If your a buyer. Wouldn't you rather buy one thats stock?
If your not going to race--why do any mods? Resale sucks on modded cars
Thanks everyone.
It will be hitting the road course a few times. I sold the LT4 and took it back to stock, sold enough stuff to make the first couple of payments.
Most mods I do will be able to be reveresed I think.
Gotta lower it first, then maybe tires, starting to show their age.
I'll pobably wait a few months before adding real mods, looking at the Vararam air intake as one of the first.

Yes. A big factor is that so many shops do sub-par work so one has to wonder if the mod was done right and with proper parts selected for the application. Even 15k mi is not enough for a problem to have shown up necessarily, and you see many a modded car w/ only a few miles since the changes.
