Awesome looking setup. I always wondered if there was a way to get a thicker wheel in the vette. And it looks a lot better then the covers.

Very nice on everything in your car!

I have spoken w.Don @ Dallas and have organized the following:

On Supplied Steering Wheels:

- Leather 2 tone $259

- Alcantara 2 tone $299

- 1/16" padding $30

- 1/8" padding $60

- Shipping $17/wheel

- No additional charge for any stitching colors.
----------------------------------------
If I get 3 orders, I can make these prices happen.

Wow, that looks great. It's definitely going to be put on my list of must have mods. I don't know if I'll do it right away though. I'll need to buy a donor wheel first since my Z06 is my DD.

No, it will not. This has been covered in prior posts. The steering gear and airbag system are entirely different. The 3 spoke wheel would look good in a C5, though .

Looks great!

I just had mine done with an Alcantra section. Have you noticed that the Alcantra is a bit harder to hold on to without the wheel slipping when turning?

Of course, Alcantara's made for racing cars that require no slipping. But with a wheel like this to have an accent 2 tone of Alcantara, that looks really nice and rare imo. I love it.

I guess the Alcantra (black suede) that VetteEssentials uses is a bit different then. It "looks" like it would have an "improved" grip due to it's texture, but I cannot even keep my hands in the 10/2 positions without them sliding down and I have to really grip that section of the steering wheel to make it work. Fortunately, I only had them do the top section in the suede - the rest of the steering wheel is Carbon Fiber Leather and it grips fine.

Good idea! I think you should most likely post a new thread about this so it receives more attention.

Btw, awesome looking steering wheel! Very jealous
