I've got 4 of them and a battery tender. I use the battery tender on my C5 but I use a harbor freight float charger on my C3, my lawn tractor my snow blower and a spare battery I've got on my bench. They work fine, no problems. I've also got a small 12 volt battery that I took out of a emergency light that I use as a power supply when I test out 12 volt circuits. Like when I put LED's in my mirror ect. I charge this small battery with one of the harbor freight float chargers.

Keeps my boat batteries charged..since at the current cost to run my boat i don't use it as often . ( marina $5.12/gal ) or to put it in simple terms $500-$750 /day ( three 300Hp outboards )

Most of the replys seem positive on these things. Guess I got two defective ones. Put one on my lawn mower (with battery cables disconnected) and one on the Vette. I was working on the Vette and had the hood and hatch up alot. It did not work on the Vette or the lawn mower battery. Neither battery was bad, both charged up with a decent battery charger.

I've had mine for a little over a year. Has kept the battery in the Vette fully charged and ready to go every time.
As far as getting what you pay for, a Float-Charger/Battery Maintainer is not rocket science.
If some people want to pay more, thinking they always get more, they can buy the same item here for a little more $$$. Even if they buy 100 of them.
