Default HVAC info needed

Upon starting my display lights up very dim & darker in the corners but after a few minits it brightens up to match sterio normal or not I dont recall seeing it do this in the past

There are 6 resistors on a circuit board inside that have bad solder joints. Easy fix, re-solder them and good as new. If you want to do it your self search for "Dim HVAC" on this forum. It has been discussed many times.

thanks for the offer to help Ive been through NASA hand soldering school years ago and I'm confident on the repair I was just wondering about the dim then bright i didnt think anything needed to "warm up". Thanks again I'll get it done in the AM.
