At first, I thought it was a hardtop on a vert. But it sure looks like a targa roof seam. Then there are the Z06 badges on the fenders. Something strange about this one.

It's possibly a convertible that someone added a Carravaggio top onto....take a look at the VIN.

The sixth digit in the VIN - 1 for hardtop, 2 for coupe or 3 for convertible. I also noticed that the car has sportseats, which weren't available on the FRC, unless a previous owner changed that out too. It's certainly possible that someone changed the standard MN6 in the FRC to an A4, but I'd bet it's a convertible with a Carravaggio top.

Another clue is the antenna mast - is it power or fixed? Convertibles had power antennas, FRC's had a fixed mast. Again - it could have been changed.....

It appears that someone who had a convertible really wanted a Z06 - brake ducts and some kind of emblem on the front fender.

The car has 150,000 miles, and looks pretty rough. I'd move on to another one.

That doesn't mean anything. I see coupes listed as convertibles all the time because the roof panel comes out. Dealers tend to be some of the dumber people I've known.

Has anyone looked at the carfax? It was involved in a accident with front end frame damage 4/03. Carfax also states convert. Either way, 146K......not interested. Think I'd walk away.
