Default Engine trouble question.

I recently installed a vararam, headers, xpipe and exhaust and my car ran fine for a few days. However, last night I took her out and shes missing, backfiring and losing power like crazy. Does anyone have any ideas where I should look? To me it sounds like a spark plug issue but I could be way off. Thanks in advance!

Look and see if the vararam has come loose. It sounds as if there is a leak in the intake somewhere loosing vaccume. I had the same thing happen to me a couple of days after I installed my intake system also. Good luck.

Hi There,
If you had a loose plug wire your DIC would be displaying code p0300. Is the DIC displaying any codes? Look for a vacuum leak around the vararam & the air coupler or a tear, hole in the coupler or loose clamp.Check the maf connector for tightness. If you still can't find it get out the windex bottle filled with only water & spray around the area until you see the water disappear,(engine running) theres where the leak is.
