I was looking through the owners manual on my recently purchased MY 2000 vette (6 speed with 43K miles) and noticed they don't suggest changing any fluids except the oil during the first 100,000 miles (so no changing brake, clutch, coolant, diff, power steering fluids).
Doesn’t seem right especially since some of these fluids are 8 years old

Personally, I would change the coolant at around 4 years (assuming you haven't hit the 100K mark ), and change the brake and clutch fluid more often than every 100K miles. I changed my brake and clutch fluid when the car had only 34K miles on it and they both were pretty dark in color.
