Extended Warranty?!
I cannot understand why so many Corvette owners spend thousands of up-front dollars on warranty purchases. I've been "self-insuring" the warranty risk on everything I buy (cars, appliances, TVs, computer equipment, etc, etc.) for 36 years.....also take $1,000. deductibles on auto, homeowners insurance. Sure, I've got caught a couple of times for out-of-pocket repairs which could have been covered under a warranty, but oferall I've saved tens of tohusands of dollars.
It all boils down to the level of risk you are willing to assume.

You are spot on. Extended warranties are the biggest RIP OFF in the world. These companies are making big money at the consumers naive expense.
Make the Stealership throw in the warranty for free to make the deal or pass.
