do you have to remove the radio,radioamp&cig lighter fuse

I tuned mine and never did anything like that.

it said in the booklet to do this on all gm cars

LOL, I must have missed that.
I thought my manual said to turn the radio off and not to use any accessories. Ill have to check.
They just dont want a low voltage situation during read write to the ECM.

Well, mine is a custom that I did. I added more fuel to stop the high end ping and for addition of headers, honker intake and 1.8 roller rockers. Plus I adjusted the fans and the fuel trim and a few other things.

So Im not sure how the performance tune thats loaded in there is.

Performance tune is good you will be impressed. If you do a few mods you will need to custom tune it, if you are uncomfortable doing that many shops will help you out. I had mine redone locally while on the dyno, the shop happened to be a "certified" retailer of the Diablo

but they can also download tunes from Diablosport to match your mods. I will eventually get a tune from Joe's in Alton, with my next round of mods, but the DiabloSport IMHO is a pretty good bump for the $$.
