Help; what should I look for?
Hello all. I'm a long time reader--first time poster. A little about me, I've owned my '63 SWC for 34 years now an enjoyed it every minute. But now I am interested in adding something a little different. Tomorrow morning I'm going to look at a 98 Vert. 54,000 on the clock, automatic. I've never owned a Vette newer than the SWC and would appreciate any or all opinions on what I should look for. Weak points? Wear items?

If you look at the stickys at the top of this section and click on weights etc. You will find a lot of info on the C5's
However that said, don't let some of the things in there scare you. I bought my 98 new and have had very few problems along the way.
I had 3 mid-years and everybody used to tell me how bad they were and of course I wish I still had them..............
