Did the unthinkable today and installed front/rear flaps on the 'Ol girl. Not a fan of them but being a daily driver I sure wasn't a fan of having to go for a repaint of the fenders either! Lesser of the 2 evils guys!!
Did look into the clear static stuff but there were two many cons w/ the pluses!
i did then painted too, but i think im goign to change to teh new ones out from ASPIS i think is who makes them. I wrecked my red ones ina year with teh car so low to teh ground. Significantly cuts down on road rash if you like to light them up!
These are Altec flaps, from Eckler's. But try their site to see how much colored units are. http://www.altecproducts.com/
Color match came out real close!
Only prob I had was in the rear, you'll play hell using the tinnerman nuts supplied for the upper screw. I ended up using the tinnerman type that clamps over the fender lip. Worked perfectly!!

I had the Altecs front and back for one season on my stock height 01. I ended up taking the front ones off because they would drag on speed bumps, driveways and sometimes bad dips in the road. They were actually breaking up and I was afraid of damaging the fender!!
