clock time won't set

clock time won't set

I had my Y2K C5 in storage this winter with the battery removed. Everything came back ok, except I cant set the correct time on the clock. It keeps time ok, just the wrong time. I followed the instructions to unlock the system using the 800 number, and it worked great. Radio and CD work great, just can't change the time. I could change time before the winter storage.

Anyone know what the trick is?

hold down the hour and minute keys for a few seconds then you will be able set the hours and minutes.

or is your point that you tried the above procedure and using that, the clock won't reset???
