Ah yes, many on here including myself have had the dreaded 1214 C code. This usually means failure in the EBCM (electronic brake control module) Did your service ABS/Tractions control light come on? First thing use the electrical stickies at the front of the tech section as a reference on how to check the grounds. There is a particular ground to chec for this case, it is on the right side of the engine compartment. You can check your EBCM connections also. Usaually, the EBCM requires repair or rplacement. Fear not, the module can be repaired inexpensively by ABSfixer.. You will have to remove the module yourself. Is a minor PITA but you can do it. You can ship the modul to ABSfixer and they will repair it for $150 Total cost including shipping should not be more than $250. Do a search on 1214C and you can get all the info you need.
