Warm welcome - I'm a first-time owner myself (this month). They are a "special" car without a doubt. I know they are just metal, glass and fabric, but there seems to be mystical component in the works as well.
Beware of the add-on addiction....I understand there is no known cure as long as you own the Vette. I'm on my 10th fix($$) and I've only owned it about a month.
BTW, I think the floor mats give you an extra 5 hp.
