Who's been to Quaker Steak & Lube?
On the way back form Bloomington Gold we stopped in Portage In for lunch.
We saw a couple of Vette in the parking lot and stopped by...
Great Wings!
Incredible ambience...
the pics show it all...
the four post lifts are backyard buddies....

WOW I been to a few of them, and never quite so many vettes as that one. I always enjoy the ones they do for wall hangings.
Are those on the racks display cars of customers? The one near me has a rotating display out front, but I've not been inside, maybe they have started doing something similar.

there's one 10 minutes from home... and another in Columbus (an hours drive).

I grew up near the first one in Sharon, PA. been eating their wings for many years! Glad you liked it. Your right, the atmosphere is great and very unique. Good food, my favorite flavor wings are the Louisiana Lickers!
They finally built one here in Columbus a few years back. Muscle cars and Vettes gather there every Sunday at 5pm. Ahhhh yes, The Lube!!

Now that would be a cool place to meet. We don't have those down here in HOT AS HELL!!!! I first thought you just misspelled STATE in Quaker State. Never heard of these.

I'm not sure I would want to sit down for a meal in one of those booths against the wall if this restaurant was in earthquake country, like LA or San Francisco.

Good thing they use back yard buddy lifts,,I've seen a lot I wouldn't want to sit under!! Those things are SOLID!!! I should give my wife a hug every time I use mine.( She got me one about 6 years ago!!)

I was just at ours in in Pinellas Park, Fl. They have an open car show every Thursday evening. Not as may vettes in ours however. Wings are great.
