Wow, a guy can't go out of town for a week without all hell breaking loose in half a dozen different threads!

Don, I'm sorry your trunk panel took so long in arriving. As I said in my PM to you after it had already been shipped, I was rather "perturbed" it cost me $59 dollars of the $60 dollars you paid for that panel to ship it to you. Not sure why the delay though.

To set everything else straight from my perspective, I had sent Don my phone number before he even agreed to buy this part from me. I'm always very straight forward and honest, even though I don't sell things very often. I had one random voice message from Don's wife one day, but no call back number. The call never actually came through my phone -- voicemail just appeared. Not sure how you wanted me to get back in touch with you without a number, bud. Regardless, here is a copy of the PM I sent him when I got back to town:

Hey man,
Sorry I've been off of here for a while. I've been out of town for the last week. Got a voicemail from your wife, but not call back number or I could have advised you earlier its been sent out for quite some time.

On that note, I was rather aggravated at the shipping process. Not sure if you've received it yet, but with the packaging and shipping combined, it cost me exactly $59 dollars to ship to you. For that price I could have driven it down and met you in OKC and met you in person even at the current cost of gas! Blah..

Anyway, you should have received it by now... especially considering they charged all but a dollar of what I charged you for shipping. Follow up with me and let me know once you have in fact received it.

Again my cell is 316-841-xxxx.

Mike

Never got any follow up messages or calls from Don.. I just get online today to 6 or 7 different threads making a big deal like I scammed him out of his money. I know its happened more than a few times here on CF, but come on... How often do "scam artists" give out their cell phone number BEFORE money has even changed hands? (Or at ALL for that matter?)

This could have been avoided by sending a tracking number when you shipped it, informing the buyer you were going out of town, and other easy items of good communication. A week is a long time to be in the dark.
