On paper is sounds simple. Use a dremel to cut a 1/4" slit in the bottom of the back of the reflector, insert the LED strip. Secure, seal then attach the nessicary connectors.
The most difficult part is curring the slit. You have to be VERY stable with your dremel to keep from hitting the lens and maintain a straight cut. I've been using a dremel since highschool so I'm well aquainted with it.

yea, sometimes they're listed as orange. But amber is usually what you get. Oznium.com has the LED strips i use:
