Hi Guys-
before i let this tire shop sell me new rotors, has any one got the spec on howfar down you can turn the rotors before they need to be replaced? i think i'm getting yanked.
thanks,
mike
I have a set that are like brand new.
Where are you located?
You need to fill out your profile.
The rotors were chemically cleaned and painted with high temp gloss black.
They need to be turned though.
Hopefully you are close to MI or shipping will blow the deal.
Let me know

i updated my profile-thanks!- i'm in southeast georgia. how much do you want for the set? the shop never mentioned any dimensions but when i asked him if they could be turned, he said " they make those things pretty thin these days and there's not much room to turn 'em. i'll get you a price on a new set". my guess would be that this guy doesn't think i can read a caliper or a mike.
thanks for the quick reply.

I would sell all 4 for $50.00 but shipping is the killer (25 dollars worth).
You will be better off buying a new set.
I just replaced mine with napas. When my pads get low I will throw the $50.00 set on and paint the napa's.
That way I always have good pads and nice painted rotors on the car.
But the reason I might sell my spare pair is if I go with thin spoke wheels, I might upgrade to a great looking rotor since you see alot more behind the rims with thin spokes.
