This thread was made for me, I just knew it. Here is what my car looked like when I bought it.
I didn't take pics of removing the BSM's. A couple of months later.....
An easy mod......
My first paint project.....
And shortly after....
Then....chrome emblems....
And side spears & chrome grills......
Then back under the hood for fender tank paint & intake cover and one of those $46 dual cone intakes off the "big auction".......
Next was a major task.......a HUD.& chrome door sills.......
Somewhere in the mix.........a show board.........(kinko's loves me)
And last but not least..........what I finally found a couple of weeks ago, the chrome waterfall emblem..........
It is a never ending process.........

Well, it's not original because a few have done this already - pinstriping it though I think is a first

I wnna' play too!!
Day after I bought it. Already had BB Route 66 exhaust system & Vararam B-2 intake system & billet chromed exhaust plate, 93000 miles, 2001.
Body side moldings removed & new C6 style whls & new tires, 17/18" & 9.5 & 10.5 width & chromed rotor hat covers, bought used off the forum & calipers painted red, ZO6 screens & screens for front brake ducts, side & rear vents.
Hood pad from my wrecked 98 that I had painted the emblem, chrome intake cover from 98, bought used on forum, chrome caps, bought used on forum, and started painting plastics with model car paint in spray cans, Candy Apple Red Metallic, battery den cover had been on the 98.
Side cove grilles, bought used on forum, painted w/spray cans Candy Apple Red.
Made fender well covers outs of Lexan sheets, bought at Home Depot & painted on the backside, & all of the underhood screws covered with plastic chrome snap caps & the door jamb screws also & have since replaced the red smooth coupler with a black one. And also put the smooth black snap caps on tail light screws.
Still have a couple of more idea's for under the hood & some LED's in a few strategic places to go, plus lowering & rocker saver's & silver grey sheepskins.

LED strips mounted in factory hatch lights, 2 extra hatch lights added for more light (pic taken 1/2 way through upgrade, the forward ones still have blue LED festoon bulbs in them.

HID high, low, and fog lights. corrected wiring
forward parking lights use DRL lights; full time operation. no automatic DRLs. no good pictures of this, they look like normal DRLs but only come on when I turn on the lights.
