Default lettering for rear

I want to do the lettering on the rear. I know what color I am going with just not sure of the type to go with. Received my new Mid American Motorworks catalog with 5 different types. Like your opinion pros and cons.

1) Solid metal
2) Acrylic
3) Polyurethane
4) UV-Coated
5) Vinyl

I think looking between acrylic and Polyurethane.

I had stainless lettering but they kept snagging my polishing clothes. I finally bought a paint pen from WallyWorld. No snag, won't fall off, or get stolen.

UV Coated Flexible Epoxy. I have the Brakelight Red on Pewter. No problems in 2 yrs. They are slightly domed, don't snag. The secret is in the prep. Clean the indents with rubbing alcohol, a couple of times. Wave a hairdryer back and forth, on low, for a couple of minutes to warm the area. Carefully apply the letters, making sure they are seated firmly and use the hairdry again for about a minute.

Cheers

I bought the recessed vinyl lettering kit from Mid America lst year, so far i've had no problems.

I like the recessed letters better, looks cleaner imo.

You should check out the new Black Chrome letters offered on the forum through CCA. Run a search for 'black chrome'.
I put these on, front and rear, and look awesome on my pewter and should look great on silver, too. They are solid metal, easy to install and fit flat to the body. I have not had problems with rag snags or anything. It's a unique look. Check it out.

I have the stainless steel inserts on the front and back. I like them against the torch red.
