Another question about lettering
I tried the decals for the "CORVETTE" on the passenger side airbag. I was less than pleased with the results.
Does anyone make a more substancial appliqué for this area?

Yeah, Cyberdine has a nice selection of airbag lettering! That would be my recomendation also!

it's been discussed at length before, anything attached to an air bag module has the potential to become a projectile upon deployment. anything more substantial than vinyl might inflict grievous wounds

I had the vinyl letters on the airbag of my recently sold car. They were installed back in 2001 and they help in place extremely well over the approximately 7 years they were on there - absolutely no peeling.
I really cleaned the area first and ensured that I carefully placed the letters on the airbag surface and then used a q-tip to press it down in place.
Maybe I got lucky with my set of vinyl letters but they worked well for me.
Cyberdine is about the only vendor that I know of that has something other than the vinyl.
