Bought my first Vette in 1967, at age 27, when I was a second lieutenant making 222 a month, stationed at Chanute AFB, Rantoul, ILL. It was a 1960 white convertable ; black rag top with a white hard top ; 2 four barrel carbs, 4 speed. Sold it for 1,500 dollars when I got shipped overseas.
Next corvette I bought was a 2000 coupe . I got it very recently. I'll be 68 in August.
