How to confuse your active handling.....

Yesterday I needed to back out of a rather long driveway, and probably got it up to 15 or so MPH before I turned the wheel slightly to the left and applied the brake. When I did, the left front locked up and the DIC displayed "active handling". It didn't release for 1/2 second or so after I took my foot off the brake pedal. Felt pretty spooky, because I didn't apply the brake nearly enough to warrant locking up that wheel. I tried it again later without turning the wheel, and everything worked properly. I guess no one taught it how to act in reverse........

I don't think it was designed to be really used in reverse, Also 15mph or so is rather fast in reverse.
