Default Shocks

Just installed was 08' C6 Z06 shocks on my 01' Z06, Napa Adaptive One Pads and Napa High performance drilled and slotted rotors. After install, I drove the car about 150 miles…. I got to see how it was really going to handle. First thing I noticed was how much smoother the car was on the freeway; it was night and day difference. I did have it at one point at a BLISTERING!!! 65mph…so I really got to see how it was going to handle at high speeds and everything was great!! The shocks are a nice upgrade for any C5 for the price. Just wanted to share my experience for anyone who was thinking of going with the upgrade.

It did a little...but not much. The original shocks had 70k on them. Im sure they did sag a little...over time.

Default The C6 Z06 swap..............

I've done that same swap but used the C5 top rubber intead of the C6 since the C6 shock are 3/8" longer. The C5 rubber was thinner which added up or decreased the ride height.
For my '01 and our '00 FRC the shock were a nice upgrade for little money.
