Has anyone...
changed their driving style since premium gas is now over $4.50 a gallon? I learned to ease out slowly and actually enjoying watching the instant MPG read out on the DIC. I also set my cruise at 70 on the freeway. One in a while, I do open her up just to hear the V8 roar.

I don't drive it everyday so I still drive it the same. When it gets 5 dollars I might not be driving it but once every two weeks lol

Have to admit it, I'm backing off a little and watching the Instant MPG gage, but have to put my foot in it now and then.

I have been going slower off the line and I've also been watching the instant MPG gauge like a hawk.

Me too. Most of the time I'm pretty gentle, but sometimes you gotta just give it a little boot. I've cut back on Starbucks in favor of the joy I can wrest from $4.15 of gasoline.

I drive a little bit more conservative, ease up a ways before a red light and take off with a slow build up to speed and use cruise control when on the highway.

Nope, about the same. 20 mpg around town and up to 30 mpg on the highway. That's not bad. And let's not forget, it's a vette!

I'll admit to watching the instant MPG and get a kick out of it, but not as much fun as watching the instant tach on a rip roaring launch...
