I changed the oil in my C5 today, and I went to reset the oil life screen, but it went blank instead of reseting to 100%, it reads _ _ %, did this ever happen to anyone, how can I reset the system, thanks for all the help in advance.

I actually went to try that and I saw it already did reset, not sure why it did that, sorry I didn't get an owner's manual when I bought the car.

You can buy an owners manual from several sources, including your favorite dealership. Or, go to the main menu page and look at the column to the left. Find GMPARTSHOUSE (also has manuals) and click on the link. Gene Culley has PDF files of owners manuals you can download for free...

It will read ---% for a couple minutes then reset to 100%. You did everything okay.
