Having a hard time finding out what the average mileage expectancy is for my Goodyear F1's (P245/45ZR17 and P275/40ZR18) (GS) obviously..I've had the C5 for a couple of months..(no burnouts going on..I know I know) but I just want to get an idea of when I'm gonna have to drop about $1300 in tires due to normal tread wear. Any thoughts?
My F1 EMTs were marginal at 14K I could have gone a little longer but I was leaving on a 2000 mile trip, so I swapped them. This set of Michelin has 18K and the rears are getting ready for replacement, the fronts are still ok.

I know that you will need to look at more than mileage alone. I bought my 2002 vette 6 weeks ago. It only had 15,000 miles on it BUT it was stored for long periods of time without moving. This created some CRACKS between the treads. The mechanic told me that I have 1-2 years, left on the tires, depending on how I drive.
My original EMT's made it 22,000. Just took delivery of 4 new ones today. Goodyear tires have been hard to come by and have been backordered for months. But retailers are finally getting them in.
I found the best deal through West Coast Corvettes, a Forum vendor. They have a C5 EMT package that includes all 4 tires. Besides, my tires were 6 1/2 years old , it was time for replacements anyway.
And I HOPE this doesn't turn into a runflat verses non runflat debate.
