They aren't as blue as some I have seen on the road. I think they look good. My friend who rode with me to test them out agreed.

This was actually my first mod when I just got my vette a few weeks ago... very easy installation and I got the kit on ebay but they didn't have many options for the bulb temp that I wanted... I think 6000k and 30000k were my only options for the 880 bulb... so I took a gamble and just decided to go with the 30000k temp bulb which i've never even heard of before and i've been installing HID's for the past couple years.... the results are pretty impressive... They emit a dark blue color that still lights up the road fairly well for being fog lights. I'm very happy with this upgrade!

great job! enjoy the new lights! make sure to align the fog lights because most C5's have them aimed about 20-30 degrees too low. the HIDs in the fog light housings are brighter than the stock low beams, you just have to aim them right.
also, you should really consider running new wires for the fog lights. the stock wiring is 20-22awg, which is too small for the draw of the HIDs while warming up. once warmed up they draw about 35W, about the same as the stock fog lights, but the warm up for 10 seconds or so they draw 15+ amps. you need 18awg at minimum, but I'd suggest 16. it only takes a few extra minutes and involves some wire, a fuse folder, and a relay. it will make everything work better!

Yea trust me I know the temp sounds rediculous... it's not even on the color scale so I have no clue where they pull these numbers out of... It's actually a dark blue color, not a hint of purple at all.
But I was really impressed with the light for my fogs... headlight color temp will definitely be different though.
Passenger fog light is aim'd a little high but here's a general ideal...
