Default Will My Tires Fit?

I have a 98 with the stock wagon wheels, I have 245-45-17 and 275-40-18 tires, I found a set of black c5 z06 rims for a good price, will my tires fit?

You didn't say if the black Z06 wheels are the factory 9.5" front and 10.5" rear Z06 wheel width, which are a inch wider than your stock wagon wheels.

Your tires will probably mount on the wheels, but the sidewalls will appear somewhat stretched. I wouldn't recommend it.

The tires will fit, but will be stretched as mentioned. But once the tires wear out, install 265/40/17 & 295/35/18 sizes.

I agree with Russ K. IF the Z06 wheels are 9.5 inch the 245/45/17 will fit, but they(tire) will look horrible. The wheel will spread the sidewall farther apart than they are designed to be( ask me how I know), it may be safe......but I would'nt do it. Same with the rear. You did'nt say if these wheels were GM Z06 wheels or replica aftermarket. Your stock wagon wheels are 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I belive Z06 wheels are 9.5 front 10.5 rear

According to Goodyear, your fronts can fit on up to 9" and your rears on up to 11". The 245s won't be dangerous on 9.5"s,and I wouldn't hesitate to use them up and then get some real tires.
