Already a proud owner of the Corsa Pace exhaust.
Made a really good contact with the director of all Corsa Corvette projects while I was in St. Charles a few weeks ago - he just sent me an email with some teasers on the new straight pipe-esque system Corsa is putting out for the C5.
Can't wait to slap it on the car! No drone (Borla) with straight pipe styling FTW! I saw the C6 Xtreme system cut away display model and it really is a straight pipe with a muffler welded on to add legality. Best part about it was the C5 they used in that vid was bone stock except for the cat back system - no telling how loud it will be with my headers!

Corsa has NO drone, patented technology. I had Borla Stingers at first 
Adding headers only made the drone worse. I then went to Corsa Pace and NO DRONE.
Probably for legality in CA.
Not sure. I think just overall sound would make the most noticeable distinction.

If you have the muffler off,, the touring have a series of small "resonance" slots around the inlet,,just inside where the inlet pipe is welded to the muffler body. As to the best of my knowledge the Pace Car does not have these slots.I talked to the Corsa people asking about an item I'd heard about them having a short tube that could be fitted to cover the slots making them sound like the pace cars.He stated they no longer did that,,but I could fashion my own with a short piece of tubing.he said it wouldn't be exactly the same,,but fairly close.I'll probably get some next time I pull the mufflers for a trip to the strip!! It sounds SOOO quiet when I put them back on!!

Just put the Corsa on my 89. Love it. We can talk in the car with out yelling and everyone tells me how good it sounds. Big change in acceleration on the 89. Very happy with it.
