You just read my mind I was going to put up the same post,cause I just received the winter catalog from ecklers.
I'd like to know those that have it does it match the carpet on the 2002 Mod. T/Red int.Cause the storage cover my wife bought me as a gift from nata does not match, so the custom cargo Z06 mat i bought from stratmosphere mats took care of that issue.
So does it match the carpet on an 02-Z06 ????

I see in your "book of mods" you have a storage bin cover. I assume it covers the large hole in the trunk. If I'm correct, can you tell me where you got it and does it match the 2002 carpet ???

re: the storage cover, I just got a torch red one (as an Xmas present for my wife) from Ken Fichtner. About $80 as I recall. Give Bob Wendorf a call.

Eckler's only has one part number... it is listed as '97-01... Supposedly it matches the 2001 interior perfectly... so that means it wont match the 2002 interior.

The carpet color is drastically different - As of 1 week and 5 days now I have recieved the exact Color carpet from the Mill . All my 2002 Partitions are exact match ,Also New Center storage covers and side covers for 2002 available through West Coast Corvettes and Nate at Extreme Motorsports.
Both of these vendors will be recieving the New products at the New Yr.
If your interested you can see under z06vetteforum and read many threads that led up to the search for the correct carpet ,Including most recent pics.
I am sorry to say that for the guy wanting a $99.00 Partition for a 2002 that matches Perfect ,You might be in for a long wait. Also understand that the particular model you are refering to does not have carpet on the back .

I love mine. Worth every penny. I have an 02 and I think it matches fine. I think I am pretty close to you, I am in Boothwyn Pa. You are more than welcome to come check it out. Sorry, I don't have any pictures or a digital camera or I would send you some. I couldn't justify the 360. for Nates although I wish Ecklers came with Z06 on it rather than C O R V E T T E.

I made my own... had around $16 in it. The black carpet came from wal-mart was around $7-8 and matched the carpet in my 00FRC good. You could probably find carpet that matches the 02+ at upostry shops for cheap and make it the same way.... the "wal-mart" brand may be close too.
I posted a tutorial on how to make one cheap and easy, with simple tools and supplies from Wal-mart and Lowes.

Thanks everyone for the information and advise. I 'm going to order the one from Eckler's and if I don't like it, I'll just toss it, but only after I use it as a template to make my own.

Ooops, it is Z U LATER that is near me. Get the Ecklers one you won't be sorry. It cuts back on alot of noise and gives the interior a finished look.

Just curious... where does the compartment divider actually fit? Would it work for a convertible as well or only the FRC? Sounds like a neat idea.

Hey ZO6VERT -
We manufacturer a convertible trunk divider from a different pattern than the hardtop model.I have all colors in stock .It comes with O.E.M VINYL front and rear.I can also do carpet rear if needed.
It mounts from the rear with the same snap assembly as the zo6 model.The reason for this is so you can still fold the top down and keep the partition in place.I also offer a modification to your factory centerstorage cover that allows it to hinge so that you can access your cd changer easier without the removal of the whole cover.
It just not as big a hit and we dont advertise it. I can snap a few pics and email them if you want.

Yes Red zee,I am the only manufacturer that has the same carpet as 2002.It was Manufactured last month for me at the mill were the supplier for GM(Lear Corporation) gets it.
It took 3 months of hard work to get it .Very difficult to buy from someone who only deals with multi million dollar contracts .But Im in now.
Nate at extreme will have them either by friday or monday first week in january ,West coast Corvettes will also have them.2002 Z06 Hinging Center Cover also will be available at the same time.
