Will they fit?

Will Kuhmo Ecsta 295/35ZR/18 fit on stock 18: c5 wheel?

I think you'll need aminimum of a 10.5 wide wheel for a 295 tire

People have put that size tire on a stock rear wheel, but I personally wouldn't do it. Check the Tire Rack web site for recommended wheel widths for a particular tire. I think with that size they recommend 10-11.5 inches wide for the wheel.

I have them on stock 18's with no problems, and they look good.I have run them for several years on other vettes.

Much too wide on stock 9.5" wheels, and it borders on being unsafe.

I just went thru this myself...

I wanted to go with a 285/35/18 and the guy at the shop advised against it.

So I stuck with the OEM size.

Honestly, if traction is your concern, the wider tire isn't the answer. The type of tire is. Get a NON-RUN FLAT and you'll have no traction issues.

I could spin my runflats with 350/360 to the road, but different world with the new T1-R Toyo's.
