Project idea...

need suggestion.

I'm entertaining an idea of picking up an '01 pewter with 40k on the clock for 19k and installing a SC like Vega$Vette.

I figured that this car can be modded and might even be faster than a C6 for around 30k for all the mods. any other ideas?

Why not add the 30k you will spend to the 19k you want to spend and just buy a C-6,less trouble and the resale would be higher

I think he meant that getting the C5, and modding it. Everything in he will have a Supercharged C5 that will smoke a C6. All for under 30K everything in.

Sounds like a good idea BTW.... Just find urself a FRC to mod...

Just my 2 cents though...

If he's droppin a supercharger in it i doubt resale is on his mind. good luck building the beast

You should be able to get a good heads and cam package for less than a supercharger, make over 400 HP, have more reliability, and spend way less than 10k.

Also, don't forget supporting mods for that power like headers, a CAI, a clutch that can take the power, etc. You will need these either way you go.
