I agree, although here in the NE you very rarely see a C5 driven w/ any decent wheels
That's VERY true here in the Rochester, NY area.... There are all sorts of 'Vettes, a lot of C-5s, but the greater majority, if they have ANY "non stock" wheel, it's a chrome thin spoke, which was a factory option anyway....
I had a set of the black centered CCW classics on my C-5 for a few years, and a set of the earlier CCWs on my Camaro years before that. I had the ONLY car that I ever saw with CCWs in this area. Last year, I needed tires, and while looking around, stumbled on a wheel/tire package deal that was priced really right...Michelin ZPs on a set of the BBS LM wheels. I bought them, and sold the CCWs. However, ONE TIME I saw another 'Vette with the BBSs....in a 6-7 year period, so maybe there are 2 C-5s in this area with custom wheels.
I love the FM5's. I've had two sets and wanted to try someting different this time, but I think they look great on the C5. Here's a pic of my C4 with 17's all around. I like the way my 19's look but wish I had gone 18 all around for tire options.

I love the FM5's and almost got a set. They are still one of my favorite wheels on a Corvette.
I was however turned off when I contacted Fikse and they said they were quite heavy (~26lbs or so each). I was kinda pissed when they told me that. The Fikse rep told me directly that the FM5's were one of the "heavy weight's" of there wheel lineup.
