Checking Resistance on Plug Wires

Has anyone ever done it? I'm getting a .38 reading so there is some resistance there. Anyone know what a normal reading should be? I've got the GM performance wires.

I would say if you test the others wires and they read the same amount of ohms, then that would be a normal reading. If not, it could mean some corrosion is creeping into the wires.

Don't know about the red wires, but as a reference point, the service manual says to replace the OEM wires if they have a reading over 700 ohms.

Thanks. When my meter is set on the 2000 setting all my wires read 375.

I tested all mine when I changed plugs a couple of years ago, they are the stock wires and all read between 370 and 380 ohms. So, it sounds like yours are OK too.
