yeah if i see a z06 with 30k miles going for $17k i'd be driving one now. i've been checking this forum and craigslist and ebay every day for the past 2 months and i haven't seen deals like the ones you're describing.

Haven't seen prices that low either...but I'll tell you the prices
out in the real world are a hell of alot cheaper than the car listed
for sale here.

Only ones for sales in the high teens have been salvage title
cars w/ 60K miles on them or clean titles w/ 100K miles..

Seen a couple that people tried to sell for mid twenties
eventually go for low twenties because of a lack of buyers.

Prices in 5 years will depend on that status of the C7...if that
car sets a high performance level it will devalue the C6 and C5
..less so if C7 is only an incremental improvement..

Less than they are now. THey have a ways to go on the depreciation slide first...Im surprised how quickly the C5 in general has come down the last year. May just be an 04 in my future, always admired them.

By the time they start to go up..we'll all be old men or in the grave..
More likely is C5 would hold steady or just not decline by
as fast a rate if C7 is some kind of bastard vette..

The price of a C5 in five years ????

The C5 Z06 (2004) will be worth exactly the same as the new 2013 "Crysanthemum" from Cherry Motors of China ........

What a stupid question ...
