Couple Questions
I just purchased an 03 Z06 a few days ago. It has 50k on the odometer after driving her home. I just want to make sure everything is ok and get your opinion on what feels off. The steering tracks completely straight when the wheel is let go, but the wheel is cocked to the left to stay straight. What could be the solution to this? From the engine bay there seems to be a rhthymic clicking/tapping sound. The engine runs great and makes great power, but I hear it only in idle when out of the car. Final question is transmission related. Sometimes when I catch a gear from 1st to 2nd is kind of tough. It's a little better from 2nd to third, but still tough. It does not feel as butter smooth as my 2002 convertible 6 spd. Just wondering if any one has any diagnosis.

On the final question only I would suggest changing tranny fluid to RP synchromaxx...My 6spd used to be really hard getting her into first from a long stop and after fluid change she pops in a lot easier

Guess you never noticed that roads slant slightly to drain off water therefore you will have a slight left of center steering wheel. drive in a flat parking lot you will see what I mean.At least that's the way roads are built here in the south.
