1999 corvette battery problem
My 1999 corvette battery discharges and will not start if left for as little as 2 days. I have changed the battery and the problem remains. Any ideas where to look for the problem.

you obviously checked to make sure all accessories are off? map lights, trunk deck closed, hood lamp off, parking lights?
Do you have an aftermarket audio system?

this battery is 3 months old. I cleaned the grounds and tightened the bettery connections. Nothing left on.

We did that and the draw is not 30ma but 200ma. Just can not find what is drawing the power. Any ideas?

yes, but it may take some time. What you'll need to do is to start pulling fuses (one at a time) until you find one (or maybe more) that is causing the draw. Then, of course, you'll need to trace that fuse to see where the problem is.

Just a thought... I'm guessing the hood is open while you're checking, so if you have the under hood lamp you may want to remove the bulb.

Perhaps you have a component that is not completely shutting down and is draining the battery. Might want to get it checked by a good mechanic.
