Wheel spacers?
I have a '99 FRC with stock z06 aftermarket wheels, would like to add a spacer to bump out just a bit. If anyone would be using them could you make a suggestion on size of spacer that is safe to use, and are you happy with the results-were you can purchase and show some pictures of the end results. Thanks for any input, you got to love the forum and it's members.

I just finished installing C6 rims on my 2002. The rears had a different offset.
I went with 1/4" spacer plates for the rears. There was enough threads left for me to still feel secure about it. But if I went any further in thickness - I'd of probably would of went with longer studs.

I run a 5/8" hub centric spacer from CCW to clear my brakes on the front. Anything more than about 1/4" I would look at longer bolts which you can get from just about any vendor.

Gotta ask, where did you find 3/4 inch spacers?

That was my question, I don't know what sizes are even made. I was hoping for some help or input on what sizes are available. And a source to purchase.

5/8ths is the perfect balance between the two sizes that you mentioned.
lancer033 said above that you can get a 5/8 set from ccw. i run 5/8ths but i had to use a 1/2" + a 1/8" together.
i'm going to get in touch with ccw to see how much their single 5/8ths spacer that lancer mentioned costs.

i've got a set of 3/4" Baer spacers that i bought from jegs that i don't need.
http://www.jegs.com/i/Baer%20Brake/136/2000012/10002/-1
these are my actual photos.
be aware that if you do use them, you will need longer wheel studs.
i paid full retail as indicated in the jegs link. if you're interested i'll sell them to you for $50 shipped.

Thanks again. I just forgot about this post that I posted a few days back. I think I will go with the 5/8 that Lancer033 suggested. Forum members are great!

To jdmvette, did you have any problems with clearance of breaks? Or any other issues. And why are you wanting to get rid of your set? I would be interested.

To jdmvette did you say you were running a 5/8 spacer now and have the 3/4 for sell. Is it a pain changing wheel studs.
