Default Front tire question
Will 275s fit under the front of a C5 without sticking out. I do have Wilwood rotors and they are a little bit thcker than normal. My 265s right now are under the front. I'm going to use a HRE but I'm afraid I can't remember if its 8.5 or 9.5. I think it might be the latter.

Unless the offset of the wheels is different they should fit. I have 275 x 40 x 17 on Z06 9.5" wheels and they fit fine.

Default CCW's
I have CCW 2:75's on the front and they tuck in very nicely. The offset is designed to fit so it would depend on shich wheels you use.

275/35/18 up front on my coupe and they fit fine!
