I'm currently in the process of replacing my FE1 shocks with C6 Z51 shocks. ( Will post pics when done). Actually got the passenger rear shock done already. Just a stupid question though, is there any chance of making a mistake in putting the rear shocks backwards ( i.e left to right and vice versa). Reason I ask is because after I installed the Z51 shocks, I have had to tilt the lower part of the shock maybe about 1/16 to 1/8 inch in order the have the shocks line up with the holes. Or is this because the Z51 shocks are much thicker than the FE1's. Thanks a bunch. Will also try to finally lower my car on stock bolts.
The rear shocks will mount either way, you can't get it backwards. the bracket is identical on either side. The reason it probably didn't line up was the suspension was unloaded when you removed the stock shocks.

Thank you. I figured that much but just wanted to confirm it. Anyway. Got all 4 installed. Took total of about 4 1/2 hrs. From setting up and cleaning up my mess. 5 if I count the breaktime for resting and eating.
