What's this C5 worth?

What's this C5 worth?
I'm looking at a '98 Coupe 6-speed w/34k miles. The seller is asking 19.5k, however KBB on this car in "excellent" condition is only 16.5k. Is 19.5k a fair price, or maybe a tad high? The car is in great condition.

Most private sells have an "emotional fee" added onto the price. If you are looking to know it's history, previous owner, service record etc.-it is usually worth a little extra-but I don't think $3,000 extra. I gave $1,000 over KBB for the comfort of knowing the history of the car!

18 max....got my 99 fully loaded coupe with 35k on the clock for 21.5 almost 2 yrs ago and thought I overpaid a tad...Just a little frame of ref.
And oh yea...def low ball as a bargaining tool...offer 16 for sure and work your way up...if the seller knows your serious im sure he/she will fold unless they arent set on gettin rid of the car

Well 19.5 does seem high compared to KBB, but after browsing Autotrader and the local classifieds there are some cars in the exact same condition/miles with people asking low-mid 20's ... that makes 19.5 seem like a decent price. I can't find many C5's with around 30k miles for under 20k.
