Default Advice needed about lowering zo6

Today I attempted to lower the car. I worked on the front first, I turned the 10mm bolt counter clockwise, I left 1/4 inch in bushing space. The car did not lower, whats the problem? The rear went fine.

Go for about a 50 mile drive, it should drop down by the time you get home. :)

Yep -- what Carl said. Seems to be a combination of driving and time. I think most of us did the ol' "Holy crap -- I think I RAISED the damn car!" thing when we first get her down off the jack stands/lift. It's normal. It'll just take time and miles.

(Incidentally, by time I mean that it might not go down to it's final resting height for at LEAST a week. The more you drive it, though, the more your help the process.)

You may also want to get the alignment done - most cars can use a tweak or two - make sure you advise the alignment shop about what you have done and the type of driving you intend to do.

Alignment is critical with any suspension modification, no matter how low or high you go ...
