Default Z06 calipers

If i just got my brake system flushed, and am thinking of putting on the Z06 calipers, would i need to reflush the system again since there will be new calipers on the car? thanks.

Since you'd be disconnecting the brake line and putting on new calipers-they will have air in them. You will need to bleed them.

Are you talking about C5 Z06 or C6 Z06 calipers? The only difference between C5 and C5 Z06 calipers is the red paint.

Its possible but it wont look as good. IMO, I would buy some powdercoated ones. They would be cheaper than buying the Z06 calipers. I think the Z06 calipers brand new cost around $400. I bought my powdercoated ones for around $230 I think, maybe a little more. Here is where I got mine from, this guy does an amazing job and is a forum vendor as well.

....but I went the EZ route and bought the Z06 calipers as well. I'm definitely happy with them

. But why not just paint your existing calipers. They are mechanically the same as the Z06 ones.

If you are careful, they don't have to come off and with a quality high temp paint or a special Caliper Paint Kit, they look as good as anything I've seen.

Not the same "bragging rights" as powder coat but they look just as good.
