When I had to sell my beloved 1985 Corvette (that I bought brand new and babied for 6 years)... I knew that I'd never be able to buy another one.

But surprisingly things changed again and I found myself in the seat of a brand new 2001.

One must do what's right for today.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring new opportunities.

I have a company car and a 4wd truck. It's not the transportation part, I have to buy a house and I don't want to get into house payments in the few years I have till retirement. Plus NC has a state income tax that will take a larger chunk of my salary.

Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts. As I said earlier, maybe no one will think they're worth what I do and I'll stick around longer. Thanks again.

Must be very difficult to sell after owning 10. However, family comes first.

If we see someone giving the Corvette wave from a 4 X 4 while driving through NC, we'll know it's you.
