I am looking to replace the factory rear speakers in my FRC. Does anyone know what size speakers are in the rear? I have already replaced the fronts, just need the rear sizes - any suggestions for what to put in is appreciated as well.
The rear speakers are 5.25 inch like the front. I never like to recommend a speaker because what sounds good to one person may not sound good to another. Go to a stereo store and listen to all of their 6 inch speakers and pick the best sounding one. Enjoy...

unless you have a Z06, FRC, or vert... then they are 5.25. However, I would say to try it without rears. I didn't believe it when I read it and I love big full sound, but took many peoples advise and only did a front sound stage and I don't miss the rear at all.
You'd be better off spending the money you were planning on front and rears for a NICER set of fronts. I went with JL C5s with an Alpine PDX 150 amp and they are awesome.

OK, What if you have a Z06, FRC or a Vert? What size are they?

Z06, FRC, and Vert have 5.25" rear speakers. Coupes have 6.5" rears. Be careful on the depth of the new rear speakers as your fuel filler neck may get in the way of the magnet on the drivers side.
Come on over to the Audio/Electronics area. Lots of good info over there.
