Default headers issue

someone has some TPIS longtube headers for sale...but they came of an 04 C5. can these same headers fit a 98 C5?

The answer is probably no. I used to have a 98 (before it got stolen) and bought some headers for it but now that car is gone and I have a 2004, and they will not fit. The oil dip stick is in the way on the 2001-20004 models.

Ummm get a dipstick for said model year it's been done on plenty of occasions here.

I was told it can be done but its a pain in the azz. You've actually done this without any complications, or just heard of people who have done this?

I haven't a buddy of mine has done it with no iussues. Plus the few threads on it here, it's really not that difficult and I wouldn't hesitate to do it.

Besides the dipstick issue the A.I.R. tube connections are in different locations on the 01-04 than they are on the 97-99.
